Cast and Crew Bios: Ryan Holsopple is the founder of 31 Down radio theater. His acting credits include work with directors: Richard Foreman, Pavol Liska, Tea Alagic and DJ Mendel. He recently worked as sound designer for Psycho Clan's NIGHTMARE, New York's scariest haunted house. Shauna Kelly Shauna played Ms. Vicky in Richard Foreman's "King-Cowboy Rufus Rules the Universe. She was directed by DJ Mendel in Tennessee Williams' "Small Craft Warnings" and has acted in numerous independent films. Other credits include Shelly in "Moonchildren" (The Engine), Polly in "Architecture of Sight" (High Fidelity Theater), and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet at the Schimmel Center. She will soon be seen in "Til Death Do Us Part" on Court T.V. starring John Waters. Jonathan Valuckas' original plays have been performed at The Ontological-Hysteric Theatre and at Williamsburg's The Brick. He is a Board Member of the Brooklyn Family Theatre in Park Slope, where he recently co-directed their production of THE WIZARD OF OZ. As a performer, he has appeared most recently in REVUSICAL at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, and played the title role in Brooklyn Family Theatre's production of BARNUM. Shannon Sindelar (assistant director, production manager) is a graduate of Western Washington University. Before coming to New York, she served as Producing Director for Dobama Theater’s Night Kitchen (Cleveland). Shannon has worked with Richard Foreman, Manhattan Ensemble Theater and The Wooster Group. She was involved with 31 down for productions of MY LAST .45 at the Free103point9 gallery space, TIME…FOR YOU for The Catch series at Galapagos, as well as THAT’S NOT HOW MAHLER DIED… in the Ontological Incubator. Her own work has been seen in the Ontological Incubator’s Outside/Input program (TWO GIRLS ON A CLIFF), the Downstairs Series (F MINOR) and Chashama’s OASIS 2005 (BY ROTE). Shannon has also worked as a dramaturge for Peter Petralia’s Proto-Type Theater. Mirit Tal (video and technical design) is an Israeli media artist and a software engineer. Intrigued by the powers of technology on our lives, her work deals with issues such as surveillance, paranoia, unconscious interaction and mind control. Soon after arriving in New York in 2004 she joined 31 Down and has since presented in venues such as the New Museum of Contemporary Art, Rhizome, Spark Festival 2006 and White Box/ Performa05. Mirit is a graduate of the Interactive Telecommunications Program of New York University. Benjamin Brown Trapped inside of an aloha shirt until his death and plagued by guilty nightmares since he was a fetus, Benjamin Brown is a foremost authourity on monster biochemistry and taxonomy. His first paper Endocrinologically Mediated Acceleration of Hypothalamic Development in Homo Lycanthropus (Brown et al. 1997) is widely accepted as one of the quintessential works on monster hormonal chemistry. In 2001 he was appointed to head the United Nations International Zombie Task Force(UNIZom). He is the author of several books including the bestsellers How to Identify the Creature in your Closet and Clowns with Hatchets: A Love Story . The Cthulhu mask featured in Metronoma is the result of his dedicated research and tortured nights of shivering reverie. He is widely respected in his field, having named over 64 new monster species, and is known among his colleagues for having no sense of humor. Jung-Min(Jadie) Oh studied sculpture for 6 years at Seoul National University. She is currently pursuing a second Master's Degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University. | |
